About BioNova Recycling
BioNova Recycling is a privately owned renewable technology company based in the South West of the UK. Since 2005 the founders, Clive Tayton & Tom Boughton have been developing a unique solution for the recovery of heat energy from food and organic waste at source.
This has been made available through BioNova Recycling since 2009 by combining the latest accelerated digestion technology with a specially developed biomass boiler system to provide clients with an innovative turnkey system. The company builds and assembles the systems at its workshops in West Devon.
BioNova won the annual Food Processing award for Innovation in 2010 for its application of the system, and has been a finalist at the AFOR (Association for Organics Recycling) awards in both 2010 & 2011.
In 2011 BioNova entered into a strategic alliance with Ashwell Biomass (with over 30 years biomass experience) to refine the waste to energy system further. The system now allows the client the option of co-fuelling the boiler with digestate and another biomass fuel such as pellet or wood chip. This gives greater benefits and versitility to each sites' particular heat requirement.
BioNova with its current 7 strong team can tailor a bespoke package for each particular client site. The systems are available either directly or through a network of sales partners and agents across the country.
